Our learners’ brains are as unique as their fingertips-as are their needs in the classroom. In this session, learn how you can leverage technology to make your online learning environment accessible for ALL learners through Google Chrome tools, add-ons and extensions. This session will focus on the importance of Universal Design for Learning for designing learner-centered, accessible environments and how features built in to Google and/or Chrome extension technologies can be a great means to help remove barriers to make learning more accessible. All apps, extensions, and tools shown are free. Attendees will get hands on experience with tools as well as time to plan to use them in their own learning environment. Geared towards all teachers-general education or special education.


Session Learning Objective 1: Recognize the significance of UDL in accessible learning environment design.
Session Learning Objective 2: Practice and utilize 5+ tools to support UDL principles and accessible learning.
Session Learning Objective 3: Plan how to use 3+ tools to remove barriers and improve learning.
